#100/#200 EXP COLL DRAW PLUG

The #100-style expanding collet will handle a range from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch (3.175 to 12.7mm) and is machined to size by the customer. It is a unique design with a master expander as part of the arbor assembly. This expanding collet comes in two styles #100S with a .300 inch (7.6mm) long pilot and #100L with a .718 inch (18.2mm) long pilot. The recommended gripping length is a 1 to 1 ratio with the bore. For example a 1/8 inch (3.175mm) bore equals a gripping length of 1/8 inch (3.175mm). The Hardinge design requires only a standard hex wrench to remove the collets-no special wrenches or special tools are needed.
