16C MASTER COLLET FOR S12 PAD

The Style S Master collet was originally designed for use on multi-spindle automatic screw machines. They were used for 1st operation machining. An acceptable TIR for such a master collet and hardened and ground pads is .004 inch to .008 inch depending upon its size. The Style S Master Collet system is now being used on CNC lathes for 1st operation work with complete success. The collet pads can be changed much quicker than a standard solid collet. The cost is less and requires much less storage space.
